Back in 2004 Rocky Goode and Kirlian Blue decided to form an act called The Thought Criminals. With the help of a Dance Producer Tony Messenger and mixer Rob Henry they pulled of their first album. The duo built up quite a cult following over the following years. Headlining very well known and famous London (UK) live venues such as The Mass, The Underworld, The Dublin Castle, Goldsmiths College, and The 333 Club!

The Thought Criminals from day one have blended the styles of Dark Early 80's Electronic music with modern Alternative Dance music. The Thought Criminals are influenced by acts such as The Prodigy, Gary Numan, John Foxx, and The Sex Pistols, Tik and Tok and last but not least Soft Cell. The Vocals are a unique style of tongue and cheek from the streets of South London.

The Thought Criminals are proudly a self manufactured act. Created by Kirlian Blue and given its balls by its front man Rocky Goode. They had no style guru's or Malcolm McClaren’s to help them. They don’t claim to be Talented Musicians, but they do claim to be Performers with very strong Musical Ideas, Lyrics, Originality and Direction.

Over the years The Thought Criminals have featured on several CD Compilations and several digital ones. The band have released several Digital Singles "Suicide Bomber" (2006) and "I Wanna Be A Celebrity" (2007). And the Album"Die Young : Stay Pretty" (2008) WTII Records.
Die Young: Stay Pretty, is the debut release from the South London Duo, The Thought Criminals. Their sound can only be described as an EBM laced Sci-fi/80’s /Electro Punk montage. Programmer/Musician Kirlian Blue, supplies the backdrop for frontman Rocky Goode’s tongue & cheek vocals. Machine Rox is the project of Richard Kaltenhauser (aka Richard K), a survivor of the Industrial Metal scene of the nineties with the band Global Noise Attack (GNA) with whom he was guitarist and programmer.  An early enthusiast of the use of electronics in rock music and one of the pioneers of the sequencer and drum machine in the French rock scene, he made the natural transition from "Hard" Rock to "Hard" Electro Dance.  Richard K also works on electro/industrial club remix for other bands and artists. If you are interested to have a remix for one of your song, please get in touch.  Shout was voted number 8 in the Reader Top Ten of Future Music Magazine. 'We make beats with Ghetto Mullets, Computers and an MPC2000XL.' - Ghetto Mullet are an Electronica outfit formed from the discontentment of run-of-the-mill sounds that worm their way into our radios from the ‘tinned music’ culture of today. Their influences range from early Hip Hop to Hip Hop from the mid-nineties all mashed and mixed together with their own take on the modern wave of glitch, broken beat recycled Hip Hop-style sounds.

Sunday Morning Hangover is Ghetto Mullet’s first project as they embark on a journey to develop their own totally original sound and formulate a head-turning and head-banging style. This EP invites you to lend your ears to Hip Hop-influenced tunes that have been convoluted and distorted just enough to divert you from gangsters and B-boys to somewhere much more obscure, and with any luck more pleasant! It’s quite possible that in the near future Doctors will be prescribing Ghetto Mullet music as alternative remedies for all manner of non-terminal illnesses! With that in mind, you are invited to blast this EP in your chosen audio containment chamber as if it were under-the-counter pharmaceuticals!

They have started work on their album.  Not sure when it will be finished but certainly in the first half of the year.  The Sunday Morning Hangover EP has done well and their first pressing has nearly sold out, however don’t despair you can still buy it online from a host of digital outlets such as iTunes, emusic, Napster, Amazon MP3.

I Spy is not really a "proper" band. The band consists of me, my computer, some software, my guitar and my Roland D10. That's it! Although I did a few gigs many years ago, these days I just do my music as a hobby. And for a laugh. I started writing and recording songs years and years ago, on an old cassette-based, 4-track machine. But, these days I've finally moved into the digital age, and my stuff is now all done on my laptop. Most of the songs on my site are more demos than fully mastered and finished compositions, so they're a bit rough round the edges. But, I hope you'll like them anyway. I'm gradually re-recording old songs and composing new ones. So, please keep checking back.

Currently recording the debut album with the full-band lineup, oddSTAR adds a new dimension to the music scene in Asheville: a blend of futuristic sounds and textures with flourishes of rock and roll spontaneity that delivers both the tension and release modern audiences crave.

El proyecto musical Ladies On Mars es desarrollado por el productor argentino Jonathan Douglas Braverman, nacido en la ciudad de Buenos Aires el día 29 de octubre de 1979. Luego de haber transcurrido su adolescencia escuchando distintos tipos de tendencias en música electrónica y atraído por ella decide investigar sobre programas de música electrónica para computadora. Así es como comenzó a estudiar sobre producción en artes electroacústicas motivo por el cual en 2003 decide dejar la carrera de Diseño Industrial que estaba promediando en la Universidad de Buenos Aires para abocarse a esta experimentación y aprendizaje.
Antecedentes: Musasero y Elektrodevil (2001 a 2006)
Musasero fue un proyecto techno que nació en el año 2000 cuando Jonathan se compró su primer computadora para de esa forma empezar a mezclar y remixar temas con editores de sonido, así continua hasta el año 2001 donde con el descubrimiento de los secuenciadores comienza a crear sus propias melodías para remixar. Al tiempo se encuentra limitado musicalmente remixando temas de otros artistas y decide comenzar a crear sus propias creaciones musicales: su primer EP  titulado “Robodancer” (que narra la historia de un robot de juguete en tiempo real) en le que se ven muy claramente las influencias de la banda alemana Kraftwerk ; este EP fue editado por netlabel www.planear.org. A este EP le siguió en 2004 “Connected Love” en el que se aborda la temática de las relaciones virtuales que se tienen a través de Internet. En 2005 lanza el tercer EP; “Demo”, caracterizado por la experimentación en otros estilos como el breackbeat y el techno industrial. Por último en 2006 sale editado por netlabel el último EP como Musasero bajo el nombre “Proteos el hijo del Sol.
Elektrodevil fue formado a principio del 2006 junto a la vocalista “Bloody Girl” (Ivonne Krotowski) en vocales, bajo y letras, y con Jonathan en vocales, percusion, sintes, produccion, mezcla y arreglos. Con un sonido muy gotico y electronico Jonathan nos trajo el arte de la teatralizacion y de la ciencia ficcion con temas como “Demon..s Night” el cual trata del demonio que todos tenemos adentro y que no podemos evitar dejar salir, o “Wake Up, Dead Man” el cual habla de que nadie quiere dejar este mundo cuando les llega el momento.
Otros trabajos en esos años fueron la producción de un tema para Alejandro Vásquez (integrante el grupo electrónico argentino Klauss) y la realización de remix de uno de sus temas: “Cáliz Profano”.  También produjo el tema “Turbox” para el programa de autos “Mundo Tunning TV”, que se emitía por el canal de cable América Sport (2004). Participó realizando la música principal para el juego de autos “Open Source Profesional MotorSport Championship” (de www.danoex.tk)  con el tema “My Beat” y “What It..s Takes To Win”. 
Ladies on Mars (2006 en adelante)
Electrónica para pista de bailes sin alejarse de la idea de que también es una música para escuchar.
Tendencia a melodías tranquilas con groove para llevar adelante lo que se conoce como “warm up”. La idea del nombre Ladies On Mars (traducido así como “Chicas En Marte”) apunta a que los sonidos, las melodías y muy especialmente las vocales y algunas letras apuntan a incorporar la dimensión femenina en un tipo de música que normalmente esta hegemonizada por varones. Más aún, Ladies On Mars como proyecto promueve e invita con especial énfasis a la feminización de este tipo de música desafío especialmente intenso para un proyecto impulsado por un varón en un contexto fuertemente restrictivo para las mujeres.
Con sonidos ya menos experimentales que los de Musasero (techno industrial con reminiscencias de Kraftwerk) y Mucho menos oscuros y tenebrosos que los de Elektrodevil (electro dark o gótico constituido por canciones con vocales humanas y ya no de máquinas).  Jonathan bajo el nombre de Ladies On Mars no abandona esos elementos que se han desarrollado en aquellas dos experiencias previas dado que sentía que los sonidos de estos dos proyectos anteriores lo encerraban tanto musical como en término de llegada al público.
Ladies On Mars tiene un sonido que combina el minimal tech con el tech house. Del cual del primero incorpora el groove y los sonidos de percutidos y del segundo las melodías típicas de ese estilo junto a la emergencia de vocales en alguno de los tema.
Algo que marcó el comienzo de Ladies On Mars fue el de reafirmar su identidad artística. Esto se evidencia en el EP “We Are Not Lesvicon” a mediados de 2007 en el cual en la versión vocal del tema del mismo nombre del EP se señala que Ladies On Mars no fue, no es y nunca formó forma parte del proyecto artístico Lesvicon Soul, del cual la gente había empezado a confundir y a creer que eran lo mismo.
La veta minimalera se comienza a advertir en el EP “Minimal Laminan”, el cual ya desde el juego de palabras revela el objetivo de trabajar las vocales de manera desestructurada y sin el formato más clásico de canción que distinguieron a sus dos EP..s anteriores (“You Warmth Makes Me Sick”  y “A Rescue From Earth”) del período inicial.
Una característica distintiva de este proyecto (que ya se vislumbraba embrionariamente en Musasero) es el recuperar la tradición de décadas pasadas en la cual se desarrollaban discos conceptuales en el universo de la música electrónica (como Kraftwerk) y del rock (como los casos emblemáticos de Génesis, Yes y The Alan Parsons Project). Esto es explicito en los actuales discos en el cual se encuentra trabajando desde mediados de 2007 “Valle de la Luna” con sus temas “Crateriano” y “Talampaya”(con sonidos que refieren al carácter desnudo y despojado de los territorios desérticos sumando algunas melodías a sonidos que remiten a crujidos y a espacios abiertos y deshabitados), “K Decade” en el que se alude elípticamente al contexto político de la Argentina post crisis con sus temas “Kristina”, “Viva la Patria” y “Victoria Front” con un mayor peso del house sin alejarse del minimal cuyo groove es más intenso utilizando sampleos de voces en el que queda evidenciada la vocación en resaltar el papel de lo femenino y en las nuevas tendencias políticas de la Argentina de hoy. Esto también se evidencia en un tercer proyecto llamado “Quilomberas argentinas”, el cual no está exento de una cierta dosis de sutil humor.
Ademas como Ladies On Mars, Jonathan tiene un programa semanal en una radio de FM de Buenos Aires, KSK Radio (101.9fm) de la prestigiosa marca nacional e internacional de ropa “Kosiuko”, donde presenta una hora de su música en formato dj set (Martes 10pm hora Argentina).
En Enero de 2008 el album “Heart: The Remixes” de Koolture, donde Ladies On Mars produjo 2 remixes, fue nominado para la categoria “Mejor Album de Remixes” de los “Premios Gardel a la Musica”.

Eternal Sunday presents Uncovered, the first album by KooLTURE, the project of producer, singer and songwriter José Tramontini. KooLTURE has made a name for himself in the international electropop underground scene, as a result of releasing high quality digital singles and EP's, catchy and dance oriented. KooLTURE has fans all over the world (his MySpace profile has more that 25,000 friends) and these fans demanded to hear KooLTURE's first long play album. The wait is over.


Uncovered is just as it was expected: a brilliant piece, a collection of the finest catchy electropop (most lyrics in English, a couple in Spanish) perfect for dancing, having fun, think about and get touched by the lyrics. A pop kaleidoscope with retro and disco touches, a subtle gay aesthetic, intelligent lyrics, radio choruses, hidden remixes, a luxury packaging and lots of tiger skin.


The songs are instant hits that take us, among others, to the inhibited freshness of "Stupid SuperStar", the reflection about fans and fame of "Fanatic Boy", to the problems and the ecstasy of love of "A Look At Me", "Absolutely True" and "Like A Cat" which give way to the almost metaphysical considerations of the two songs in Spanish, "Irónico" and "Vuelo Fugaz". Fame, success, glamour, dance, nightlife, complicated human relationships, to love and to be loved, the meaning of life, all of KooLTURE's usual themes are present in these 12 tracks with memorable choruses.

The influences are there: Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, New Order, Madonna, 80's and 90's electropop, disco music, pop culture and a subtle gay touch apt for everyone.

 

The album was co produced by KooLTURE, Sgoliat, Diego Puerta y Sygma (renowned DJ and producer from Rome, Italy) and remixed by y Ladies On Mars (who also mastered the album) and the young PJ Rose. Several musicians appear as guests.

Jonteknik has been creating electronic music since 1988 when he discovered Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre. Back then the music was created on an Amiga computer with a tracker program. Soon progressing through Cubase on the Atari ST and finally finding the joy of Apple Mac, Jonteknik started with Logic and now uses Pro-tools LE with a variety of soft synths and plug-ins.  The first release came in 1994 on Desy Balmer's 'Nice & Nasty' label. This was the 'Tanzmusik e.p' created up in Manchester's 'Out of the Blue' studio, now sadly gone. Jonteknik joined forces with Kraftwerk enthusiast Mark 'Staggman' Stagg and Andy Sturmey who is responsible for many of Jontekniks CD cover images.

Gaining respect from the press, such as Melody maker, Future music, Music Technology, MT and The Mix, Jonteknik was crafting his own sound around the heavy influences of those great pioneers from Düsseldorf. It was soon discovered by the world's coolest Belgian and writer/producer Pascal Gabriel who helped Jonteknik sharpen production skills. Pascal introduced Jonteknik to Claudia Brücken. They both corresponded by post. A simple demo was recorded around 1993 called 'Ohm from ohm'.

Jonteknik also had the pleasure of meeting up with Holly Johnson in the mid 1990's. A few ideas were put together and there was a lot of music chat. Holly showed Jonteknik that songs worked with the right structure. An acoustic performance of 'Relax' and 'Love train' demonstrated this exactly!

More recently Jonteknik worked with Paul Humphreys and Claudia Brücken on their 'Onetwo' project. Jonteknik co-wrote and co-produced several tracks and even dabbled with lyrics. One of the highlights for Jon was getting to program percussion and synths on a track that has Martin Gore from Depeche Mode on guitar! It was a hard time for Jon as issues beyond his control were making life complicated. To this day Jon holds the times of working with Paul Humphreys as a great memory, especially creating 'The theory of everything'.

Collaborations between Black Saturn and subduxtion aka the post-human cyborg. subduxtion's 'Bridges Of Sound' was their first project together; released on DEXANDTHECITY RECORDS (DEX007) as a free downloadable album. 'Bridges of Sound' featured Black Saturn's sound poetry on four of the eleven tracks - 'Reorganize the Noise', 'Rotation', Speak 2 Dem' and 'A Few Last Words'. Their next project titled 'Future Noise', was a four song EP that included new mixes of three previously available songs and a new song 'My New Spacesuit'. The EP was released in October 2007 on BRAINSODOMY RECORDINGS. Following the release of 'Future Noise' were appearances on the compliations: 'i-lek-tron-ik' on BRAINSODOMY RECORDINGS, 'Second Net Compilation' on Smell The Stench and 'The Iron Youth Is Listening' on Bone Structure. 2008 saw the release of 'Ancient Kingdom' on Alrealon Muisc. 'Ancient Kingdom' features eleven new songs.
