Here's a list of the fantastic artists for this show: -
ARTISTS / TRACKS / LINKS
KALABI - 47 Burning Violins (Remix)
Kalabi has been producing music of one kind or another for the past fifteen years. He started out in garage bands where he played bass and shouted along to punk and rock covers, before moving on to writing his own tunes. From here, Kalabi played with a number of indie, rock, metal and experimental bands before sitting down in front of a computer and starting to mess around with samples. Kalabi mixes live instruments with synths and programmed beats to create chilled out dubby tunes, and occasionally more up-tempo trip hop beats. Kalabi also occasionally produces other artists, including his friends and local noise merchants “Kreosote”, the mighty songwriting and guerilla comedy duo “Proline” and remix work for “B0hdi” of the “Deadly Science” music collective. To date, Kalabi has tracks released on the “Elysian Vibes 3” compilation through One World Music, a track on “Cafe Zen” through Park Lane Recordings, a track on “Chasing The Third” through Mighty Fat Records and various other branded compilations. There are Kalabi tracks available to buy now on the beatport website (www.beatport.com) and itunes. The Kalabi debut album will be released this summer through Next – Essence and Toptrax records.
LADY CITIZEN - e-rox
http://www.noisehead.com/ladycitizen69
Jun Fukunaga aka lady citizen began making music in Melbourne, Australia in 2005. Lady Citizen's concept is "machine soul", "electro shoegaze beats" & "electro based next level Hip hop, Breaks & Jazz".The sound incorporates a lot of different music styles (Rock, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Techno, Jazz etc). Jun has been pursuing Lady citizen's unique sound.
In February, 2008, Lady citizen's 1st full album "Next 1 groove" was released on Nashville Noir Records(U.S.A.) and Jun started a remix work project "Lady citizen remixes". It has received good reviews from around the world.

Komputer's debut album, “The World of Tomorrow" came out in 1998 and was a glorious assemblage of top-notch electro songs, conceptually a reaction against Oasis’ glorification of The Beatles, with Kraftwerk as heroes. Due to the band’s strict quality control, a further 2 albums worth of material never saw the light of day. Eventually their second album, "Market Led" was released in 2002. It was a glitchy, crazy slice of mittel-european electronica and owed its depths to the likes of Murcof and Pole.
"Synthetik", the third album, gradually evolved over a long period of time, the tracks being tried out in live sets then discarded or reworked in the studio. It finally matured into a return to the more traditional Electro sound of the first album, with the incorporation of a more experimental and contemporary electronica approach throwing the genre a few curves along the way. Enjoy.
Synthetik (2007) 'electronica at its most optimistic' > Market Led (2002) 'the year's most brilliantly scintillant and earnestly playful electronic album', 'sounds like the kind of music Robby The Robot from 'Forbidden Planet' would make' > The World Of Tomorrow (1998) 'kraftwerk's illegitimate offspring', 'endless doppelgangin' pleasure'
Floating Stone (guitarist Jeff Aug, percussionist Niko Lai) formed in 1999 and perform acoustic instrumental fingerstyle-stunt guitar mixed with unorthodox percussion. They have performed three U.S. tours, as well as hundreds of concerts in clubs and Rock / Blues / Ethno / World Music / Electro festivals such as Fusion in 2004 & 2005; Fest der Leise Tone 2005 & 2006; Pura Vida in 1999, 2002, and 2004; Krach Am Bach in 2003; Orient Meets Africa in 2002; Dampfsage in 2000; and many more. Floating Stone's new studio double-album, Arco's Third Eye, is now available. CD 1 is Floating Stone "pure" (pure acoustic instrumental) and features guest appearances by Anne Clark, Jann Michael Engel (cello), and Murat Parlak (piano); each performing on one track. CD 2 includes 6 remixes of tracks from CD 1 remixed by the experimental ambient noise producer XABEC from Leipzig, Germany (Hands Records recording artist). This unconventional instrumental duo should not be passed by. Instrumental Guitar (Acoustic/Fusion), total running time, 1.5hr - Floating Stone @ iTunes! | |||

We couldn't quite explain who we were... but thanks to one of our fans, now we can:
“A Rag Doll, a Tin Soldier, a Marionette, and a Shadow Puppet make up this independent band, appropriately named The Antique Toys. Armed with creative lyrics, a powerful vocalist, an electronic sound, live instruments, and a certain, anonymity, The Antique Toys is blending familiar sounds from bands of the late 80s and early 90s with a digital twist. Drawing from a healthy mix of eclectic music, the Toys have been influenced by a long list of bands such as OMD, Depeche Mode, the Cure, David Bowie, Shiny Toy Guns, Postal Service and Radiohead. From this collection to draw from, The Toys have developed a variety of sounds, but every one of their songs carry an emotion that is clear to many of their fans. They tell real stories from their past, and from their hearts. Their music has been inspiring to many, which as Toys, should be the case. We all had favorite toys growing up, and still have some now. The feeling of joy and hope they bring to us is what The Antique Toys brings to people in their music..." Thanks pg.
