History

The Robo Cast Radio podcast shows started by Ian Price in July 2007. Ian's own music FUTURE DAZE and SCHOOL OF AMBIENCE received a lot of airtime on podcasts and radio shows worldwide, and as Ian has been a passionate follower of all things electronic (music) since the late 70's, he started his own show.

Ian likes to include a wide variety of genres in the show, from experimental ambience, to industrial assaults. Plus a huge helping of electro and synthpop for good measure.

Ian has been creating his own music for over 25 years and he has a wide and varied knowledge of the electronic music world :)

In December 2011 the very last Robo Cast Radio show (50) was published. After 4 years it was time to hang up the microphone and put the robots into retirement.

It’s been a fantastic experience with some of the highlights being the two special shows for BBC WM (both broadcast twice) and a special show and limited edition CD of John Foxx inspired music ‘The Other Side Of Metal Beat’ created in conjunction with the fab Toffeetones label.

Thanks again to all the artists for appearing on the shows and most of all thanks to all the humanoids (and Numanoids) for tuning in and making the shows a huge success.
